I'm glad to hear you're getting interested in GTD, it's totally rocking my world right now. I wish I had gotten into it earlier in my internship, because I think it would've made a big difference. The book is worth reading, if only because he really "sells" the system and makes you want to try it out. If you buy it on Amazon I think it's only $10. If you have the time and your wife won't be too annoyed, I think you should take a weekend to read it and really try to implement it. You don't need any software to get started, I'm doing everything on paper right now and it's working great. I'm in that same online class! So are Colin Brown and Kirsten.
